What I’m working on… spilling paint
So yesterday I decide to get to work on cleaning up the extra room full of junk soon to be craft room / closet III. And what do I end up doing? Well spilling paint of coarse. They say you got a break a few eggs but spilling paint is ridiculous. So I look to see which paint had spilled and it’s CeCe Caldwell chalk paint. Expensive paint I can’t just let it go to waist. I can’t just leave there. So in a light bulb moment I decide to scoop it up into a painting tray and walk over to my bedroom. Because who doesn’t bring spilled paint to your bedroom but this is how I think folks. If you follow my instagram or Facebook you already know what got painted.
Since bedroom changes are well underway, why not start on the headboard too. I had planned on waiting on this project while I finish up the black bedroom walls. But with spilled paint in hand there was no time like the present. Right!!
You might also know, [Tweet “I’m in lovvvvvvvvvvve with a bissel cleaner”]. It’s not even my machine my awesome neighbor and friend Sue from upstairs lent it to me when I moved in. Now I’ve sorta taken over the machine and keep it down stairs with me. Of coarse it is at her disposal should she ever need it. 😉
If you remember I have two doggies and this machine saves there life daily. Or at least bi-weekly.
So I will give you a peek at what the crazy junk room started out like this morning.
As you can see previous tenant big fan of color red. Me not so much. Yes I will paint. I’m thinking far left wall will go white and get closet system added to it. Remember from my closet II.
So yes folks I am the queen of reorganizing cause I really didn’t take much out of the room I just reorganized so it gives the perception of more room. I did unpack 3 boxes which did get organized into the crate wall I’m using for supplies. I got to wash the paint stain up and a good chunk of the room carpet. But enough with the ugly stuff. Let me show you what I got done so far in the bedroom.
I’m loving my Sherwin Williams black magic paint on the walls and I’ve spruced up the closet in here.
Do you remember that garage sale frame which was up-cycled. Doesn’t it look fabulous against the black?
The first coat done with the spilled paint on the headboard is dried. So time to go finish that baby up.
