what I’m working on around here

It’s been a little while since I posted.  Two weeks now to be exact.  I’ve sat down to write and just not been able too It happens sometimes.  But I did want to share with you all what I’m working on around here.  Because I might be in a writing funk it doesn’t mean I’m in a creating one.  Funny how that happens.

what I’m working on

Looks like a lot right it is!!

Coming up next Monday you will see my post on Dixie Bell paint.  My kitchen chairs are looking fabulous now wait till you see.

While in the kitchen I needed to get my spring cleaning on so I emptied out this round corner cabinet.  We use it  to store all our cooking ingredients.  So over the coarse of a year it can rather ugly looking.  I do like to empty it out at least once a year and give it a really good clean up.  I’ve found that the Awesome degreeser for the dollar store would you believe it?  Works awesome.  Pun intended.

I’m happy to be getting an early start on my spring cleaning.  But having done this has only highlighted how much I am hating my kitchen counter top.  Hmm something will have to be done about that.

That’s Memphis my niece’s dogging making his first cameo on this blog.

If you follow me on my instagram then you’ve already seen some sneak peeks.  Of my gallery wall coming together in my entry way hallway.  I’m decided to join some awesome bloggers for a $100 room makeover challenge.  We will get to reveal our rooms end of March  I am doing my front entry hallway.

This corner of my living room is going threw some pretty big changes too.  I’ve added some awesome brick wallpaper.  I’ve moved my70’s bar cart in there for now.  I’m loving the look of it there but have other changes in mind for that corner coming up soon.

Yes that luggage needs a revamp maybe that will be happening soon too.  Maybe not its not on the list of must get done right now.  But you never know how that list is organized around here.  I like how it makes the bar cart a little taller so I’ll be keeping it in use for now.

Mother nature is one fickle lady.  Because we have had the weirdest February ever in my opinion.  I’ve been able to get some gardening prep work done in my backyard.  New Jersey is usually buried in snow in February.  But not this year there have been some 60 degree weather days.

I’ve gotten outside and started the spring clean up.  I’ve held myself back from starting to plant anything as like I said the weather is crazy.  I read somewhere that you shouldn’t start planting until the weather is at least 40 degree’s {or higher of coarse} everyday.

St Patrick’s day is coming up fast so it is certainly time to get my green on.  Be sure to follow my instagram so you can see all the green going on around my place.

I hope you enjoyed the recap of what I’m working on around here.  Be sure to come back soon to see how it all turns out.
