Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 24

Time for transformed treasures Tuesday no 24.  Which is where I take transformed treasures Tuesday no 22 and give it another change.  Now usually when I get a piece and decide to transform it.  I do do it all in one shot.  But this piece was a hand-me down from my honey’s dad.  Now even though my honey told me over and over change it make it your own.  When I first started changing it he was sad to see it change.  So at that time I only did a little change to it.  You see he believed that to honor something someone gives you, you keep it exactly the same.  I on the other hand do not believe that at all.  I feel that if you change it and make it your own.  Then you will love it both cause it brings you memories of the person who gave it to you.  As well as now loving its look.

Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 24

I removed all hinges and handles.  Put them in a box to avoid over spray on my table.  I love how spray paint can make the nicest quick change.  It’s one of my go to items for the fastest changes.  I’m really loving this silver that is not too shiny.

This project took all of two hours start to finish.  And that’s only because I got side tracked watching General Hospital.  I’m a huge fan been watching since my grammar school days.  Remember running home to watch Luke & Laura’s wedding.
