Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 23
Time for Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 23. It’s the LOVE sign I picked up just last week. Did you see my Thrift Share Thursday no 35. I paid 99 cents for this sign. Cha ching. For less than $1 dollar I got this awesome sign. I’m pretty proud of myself for seeing the potential. You can agree or disagree in comments below but I think this sign was the most amazing deal. It might get other changes down the line. But here is it’s new first look that took less than an hour to transform. I love how quick and easy spray painting a project is. I keep a little stock of spray paints in my junk craft room. Always have some silver & gold on stock. They are my go to metal colors. I am also a huge fan of mixing metals. I like they way they look used together.

I used Krylon brushed metallic Satin caramel latte. It took about 4 coats to truly cover up the sign. I let it dry about 10 minutes between each coat. So at the most this project was done within an hour. I then added a frame bracket to the back of the sign for easy hanging. You can get these at the dollar store. You know how I love me some dollar store supplies.
It’s hanging in the bedroom for now. Not sure I’ll keep it there but loving it against the black wall.
Stay tunned…xoxo Arod

Hello Handy Girl/Find it for a Bargain. Yes, you have quite the stash of spray paint in stock, good for you. You got the LOVE sign done in no time and it looks great. Thanks for all the inspiration.
I just love your love! You are so very creative GF! I always look forward to your sassiness lol
It’s really nice and clean now. I was honestly expecting to see you do a lot more with it than just that. It’s nice though.
You do know me well Crystal I wanted to do more but lack of funds gave it this new look. I’m sure it will get bling in the future. 😉
Great find I love a good bargain. Well done seeing it’s potential
Nice find! Can’t wait to see what you do to it. I know you will have trouble just leaving it alone 🙂
It’s always great to make something new again – love how beautiful it looks in the after photos!!

Pretty neat that you can see the finished product while browsing for hidden treasures. Great job!
That was such a great find! I never seem to come across gems like that one, but I probably need to devote more time to looking.
