Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 16 a buffet gets a new look

Time for a transformed treasures Tuesday no 16, this buffet is finally done.  If your thinking its just in time for entertaining some guest.  You are so right.  Thanksgiving is Thursday.  And we are hosting so take a look at what I think is an awesome transformation for an old piece with some life left in it.  A friend called me a almost a year ago now.  I grabbed up this piece right away and already put it to use in the apartment.  Now with making it way over to my honey’s house.  I thought it was time for it’s facelift.  It’s finally done and now in use in use.  It hides all our movie collections.  I planned on making the first drawer drop down to hide cable box.  I thought better of it and will be adding a shelf over top.  But that’s a plan for another day.

I used some of the left over black Behr Onyx paint from the kitchen.  For the silver I used one of my favorite MS called Thundercloud.  On the body I used Annie Sloan pure white.  For the top I restained in Minwax Jacobean again a favorite of mine.  I really like the color combination.

This is such a stunning transformation. I love the colors you choose and the details. I wish you would show me how to do these things myself.
