Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 11 Desk revamp
Time for Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 11. I’ve been moving this desk around my apartment for about a year now. In hopes I would find the perfect spot for it. Sadly it was not meant to be although I loved it, it was to long for my space. I could not find the right fit for it in my apartment. I tried to fit in several rooms to no avail. Coincidentally my good friend Jamille was looking for an extra long desk for her apartment. She is the awesome photographer jamillecostaphotography.com I’ve worked with several times & a great friend. She thought an extra long desk was needed for her to set up her multiple laptops. In order to get more work done on her photo editing. She wanted to set up a dedicated space for this and her guest room seems just the spot. I had already stained and painted bottom of desk in Annie sloan old white and minwax Jacobean, when she spotted it and asked if we could give it a little color. So this desk got an extra pop of color from the left over blue I used in my new grandson’s room. I think it gave it just enough jazz.

I think she is quiet the beauty in her new home. Below you can see how she was just too long for the space. But I tried.
Top was stripped and stained in Minwax Jacobean. The bottom I painted in Annie Sloan old white with some Behr ____ for the pop of color. I finished all with Annie Sloan clear wax.
The after.
xoxo Stay tunned… ARod

This might be one of my favorites yet, but I have so many. I pinned to my Before and After Pinterest board. Wish we lived closer because then I could sneak over and steal this transformed treasure.
