Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 15

Transformed Treasures Tuesday no 15 is about some cute thrifted mason jars.  Last Monday was Columbus day and as I’ve told you before holidays are a great day to go thrifting.  My local MyUnique stores have a 50% off sales on all holidays.  So it’s a great day  to stock up on anything you are looking for.  One of my closest friends just recently got engaged and is planning her engagement party.  She is a fan of mason jars and started a board of some great idea’s.  So on this holiday we decided to go stock up on mason jars …

We totally scored.  We were able to find close to 10 jars all for just under $1 each.  Cha ching!!!!

So we picked up some Rustoleam Gold spray paint.  And I totally went to work on these babies.  I love that my friend so knows when to just let me do my thang.  She showed me her ideas and let me go to town.

Here’s how awesome {I think} they turned out.

This project was super easy.  It took maybe all of 15 minutes to paint the jars.  Use light quick strokes so you don’t’ end up with messy overrun lines.

For the taped jars I found it easier to paint them right side up.  Be sure to press on tape all the way around the jar for clean lines.  And be sure to remove the tape slowly while still wet for the nice clean lines.

What do you think?  Aren’t they pretty all dressed up in gold now.

Don’t they look super ready for a party??  Oh yeah time to party!!

xoxo Stay tunned… ARod
