Thrift Share Thursday no 26

It’s Thrift Share Thursday no 26 time for last month’s white milk glass round up.  Yes folks I know it’s Sunday but I promised this to you all last Thursday afternoon.  Well I won’t bore you with my head cold and computer troubles that followed.  And so here I am on Sunday morning sharing Thrift Share Thursday no 26. I picked up most these pieces on Columbus day as I’ve mentioned to you all before that on holiday’s my local MyUnique thrift shops hold 50% off sales.  I love a sale don’t you?  I mean hello your usually getting a good price in a thrift store.  And take 50% off that, yes yes please I’ll take it.  Now I’ve been collecting white milk glass for the last 2 1/2 years, so the collection is getting pretty big.  I have pieces displayed in every room.  I love to use my pieces for any/every occasion.  For dinner parties to all out big parties, I pull out some of pieces and put them on display. Last year I used my white milk glass vases as center pieces for my daughter’s HS graduation.  This year I used the bigger pieces to make a beautiful chocolate fountain display at her baby shower.

Here’s a look at the new additions for October.

My favorite piece in this haul is the double sided horse head piece.  I think it will be used on my desk as a pen/pencil holder.

What piece did you like best?  Let me know in comments below.

They are all so pretty and I’m sure you can use them in any room being white.

They are all so pretty, I like the double horse head one also. It’s different, I think that’s why I like it. Mom and I were at goodwill this past week and I saw some really nice pieces of milk glass. I didn’t buy any, but I was a little mad when I flipped it over to see the price and they had written the price on the bottom with a sharpie. They do that to every item in the store if you cant hang a tag on it. Anyway, irrelevant lol just made me mad. Thanks so much for sharing your collection with us!

  3. What a big collection you have started! I think I like the double horse head too. And the folded bowl. Now I’m going to think of you every time I see milk glass 😀

  4. These are really pretty. They remind me of some dishes my Mom had when I was growing up.
