Thrift Share Thursday no 16

Time for Thrift Share Thursday no 16.  It was a pretty good week at the thrift shop.  I find the summer time way to hot to garage sale or yard sale.  I prefer to go to thrift shops with AC.  I just can’t even browse if I’m sweating.  I do look forward to hitting some garage/yard sales in the fall.  So here is what I have to share with you all today.

The cross bookend I think will make a nice display peace in a very special baptism I have coming up.  And isn’t the little drinks sign so cute.  You know I love a good home bar & bar cart {you can see them if you click on the words}.  My grandson’s name is #DamonThomas so the little train/wall hook only needs a little improvement right? I think I could squeeze Damon right in there and you will think it was always meant to be there.

The your & mine wall hooks will go to my honey’s house.  I hope to show you all some of the work I’ve been doing over there soon.  The designer cork board will go to my closet II which doubles as my work at home office.

I do all the time so come back soon to see how I do it.

ARod, Those are some nifty finds that you have come up with this week. I am liking the Yours and Mine wall hooks, they would be great for keys and baseball hats. I have two white star things like you found thrifting on my kitchen shelves now that I found at Goodwill, one of the stars still has it’s Pottery Barn sticker still on it. I think you should have a thrift share link party. I guarantee I would have something to share every week. Almost everything I do involves thrift store buys. In fact in a week or so I will have a table ready to go into my dining room that was bought at Goodwill, a 1960ish table with a stylish glass top and a marvelous Moroccan style base. I will be using it while I refinish my Craigslist danish modern table from the 1960’s. Have fun thrifting this week, I will be thinking about you out there finding new treasures to use for your home.
