table re-vamp

remember this little table?  It’s finally had a table re-vamp.  If you do then you’ve noticed its taken forever.  Ok not really forever, but it’s been a while.

She’s ready now!!

What do you think?  Surprisingly it’s not black & white. Right!

it’s CeCe Caldwells Vermont slate & Seattle Mist

It’s actually not totally finished.  It still needs to be waxed.  Hence the glass over it.  My honey is not good at remembering not to use a table not yet waxed.

This table will be part of this little smoker’s nook.  I’ve set up for my sweetie, who as much as he tries, is still a smoker.  Whenever he finally quits this will just be our drinks nook 😉

We already sit around here & chill together.  It’s really becoming one of our favorite spot in the apt.  I’m sure he will like it more once I finally have curtains up.  Not because he likes curtains, heck no because he likes to hide from the sun.  I’m sure it will be our new battle.  He will close them.  I will open them.

  3. Aaaahhhh…the perpetual battle between cohabitants! One likes the drapes open, the other likes them closed. One likes modern, one likes contemporary. One likes to keep the seat up, and the other more sensible one knows that it needs to be down and has every right to pitch a fit when it isn’t!!!!!!! 🙂

Great job on the table! That is a really terrific morph!!! It totally gave it new life that will be in style for years to come!!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog yesterday and for your well wishes re: my surgery. I hope to be back in the saddle and ridin’ high again soon. Meanwhile, take care and enjoy your weekend!!!
