my TIFF dresser’s fresh look

My TIFF dresser’s fresh look is just a new coat of paint.  This now beautiful dresser I love has made it threw 3 years and 2 moves with me.  My moves are not easy on furniture as I usually recruit family for free.  And you do get what you pay for in life.  But I can not complain at all as all my white milk glass made it threw 2 moves now as well.  If you have followed me for a while you know 😉 it’s quite the collection and not 1 piece was broken.  So taking that threw 2 moves I am ever grateful to my family {friends included}.  Anyway back to this dresser I like to call TIFF dresser.  I originally showed you all how I acquired and redid it.  Click on picture to see the original post.

I showed you on instagram last week as some painting got done.  Well this dresser was one of the things to get a new dress coat of paint.   I like to work on more than one painting project at a time as it will get each piece or wall time to dry as I work on the other thing.

I used Benjamin Moore paint color in Tropicana Cabana.  I had over 3/4 of can left after doing my closet in the honey’s house for the January change a room in 30 days challenge I was doing.  I’m hoping to be able to join in Thrift Diving’s next challenge.  I love thinking that a room can be changed over completely in 30 days but don’t have the self motivation to do by myself.  I think I’m a fan of peer pressure when its for a good outcome.  When I work by myself my pace is more laxidaisy lol as you can all see here on the blog.

I pulled out drawers that have held up beautifully.  And just gave the body two quick coats of paint.  Let it sit and dry a few hours as I painted the closet.  I waited till next morning to just pop the drawers back in.  And this beauty now lives in my black bedroom.  I’m loving the pop of color in the room.
