my fall fantel

I showed you the first version in my it’s fall ya’ll post.

my fall fantel

Now it’s gotten some thrifty updates thanks to my local Goodwill. And the wall got some Renter’s upkeep which I’ll tell you all about next week.

These are porcelain pumpkins from AC Moore which sold for $5 originally I got them for $1.50 each cha ching.  Expect to see the pumpkin plaque updated and out in my Halloween decor.  Maybe in some black & white you know their my favorite colors.  But who knows I might just go a little off my regular colors.  We shall soon see.

Of coarse change is a constant around here folks, so this fantel might just get another look before the Halloween decor comes out but we shall see.  Like the changing seasons I too like to change things up.  I will add and remove to move things around constantly.  For that reason fall is one of my favorite seasons.  It is constantly changing the whole world around me.  With such a beautiful colorful palette.  The reds oranges & even green look so much prettier in the fall don’t you think?

Hi there. Stopping in from Manic Monday. I was excited to see how you were decorating for fall. I used to decorate for the seasons all of the time when I only had 2 kids. Then 2 more came and things kind of fell to the wayside. I’ve decided that I want to get back into decorating and knew I had to check out your post. I love the scarecrows and the pumpkins on the pedestals is quite clever. Thanks for the inspiration to get me started again.
