My April furniture refresh

So happy to be a part of these awesome ladies for the April Furniture Refresh.  This month theme was acrylic paint and so I went to  work on giving this thrifted table a new look.  The top was in need of some repair as the you can see.  The veneer had some cracks but I saw potential.

April Furniture Refresh

I really enjoy working with this group as they give me awesome inspiration.  You can see below a little round up of what we all started with.

I can’t wait to see how each piece turns out.

As for mine well you all know I love me some black & white.  So of coarse I happen to have those acrylic paints always on hand.  I don’t usually paint a whole piece with it but I love a challenge.

This table just needed a little tender loving care.  I see potential although after having repaired the veneer in what I thought was the only spot needed another popped up.  So I’m afraid my repair might only hold off having to replace the whole top for a few months.  I’ll take it for now it’s definitively gone a step in the right direction I think.

This month out theme was acrylic paint.  So the pretty legs on this baby went white.  I wanted to do the whole top in black and accent it in silver.  As luck would have it I ran out of black paint and so this little lady had to come up with a plan B.

How does that ole saying go?  We make plans and GOD laughs.  So the top of the table got a little side tracked.  And in the future will get a whole new look but for now this babies done!

I love what you did with this side table. It’s gorgeous and the black stripe in the center adds just the right touch. It’s unique and fun. What a terrific find and I love the shape of the legs. Great job.
