Garage Sale Frame up cycle

Up-cycle frame.  Do you remember this beauty??  I was so excited to get it  while out this fall,  garage sales hunting.  I really love the fall weather as apposed to summer garage sales.  I just cant take the heat.  Unless ‘m a beach sipping anything lol…

Here’s the before

and after a little Annie Sloan pure white…

when i started to paint it i thought i would paint whole thing then come back in with a dark wax to highlight the etching

DSC_3262 but whilst painting jcostaphotography mentioned you could just leave some copper/gold as the highlight and my new technique was born lol less paint genius I tell you …

Yeah I’m painting in the sun room now lol.  Craft/paint room is way to full of junk beautiful wonders lol to actually work in there.  So I’m moving them out into sunroom to work on them.  Then they find a new home or that is the plan.  Anyway…

Isn’t it stunning?? or at least really pretty?? I’m loving it

It’s living on my side {of the bed} for now but will certainly make an appearance other places in the house soon.
