Dollar store decor-Time to go green

The St Patrick’s day celebrations have started.  Time to go green…

So I took a quick trip to the dollar store this week.  I just love being able to get some cute and trendy decor for $1.29 each.  I’m not sure why my local dollar store has every starting at $1.29.  Someone should tell them there not a dollar store if you can’t just pay a dollar.  But it’s two blocks from my place and my CoCo and I can take the walk there.  So I’ll pay the extra 30 cents.

Take a look at what I picked up…

I thought this would be the perfect addition to my coffee filter wreath.  IMG_0300

All the candles are for my apt fireplace.  I would have liked some darker green candles but all they had were the light green ones.  So I made do…

I added some of this year’s green thrifty finds…

That little dark green glass.

And this little Irish Forever cup I had picked up for my sweetie…

Sorry for the bad picture, but this is it all put together.

Some of my doors went green too of coarse…

Last year I used some printable for my ledges March update, if you’d like to take a look.

Here’s a peek back at last year’s apt fireplace…
