my Christmas home tour 2015

2015 has been one of the hardest years of my life.  I try very hard for a least an hour each day to do something I love and enjoy.  I am sharing with you all today my  Christmas home tour 2015.  As I reflect on a year that has brought me plenty of tears I try and reflect on some warm smiles as well.  As I go thru this my first Christmas without my love, grief still clouds my life in way to many ways to name.  But I am a firm believer in going forward.  In knowing I can not change the past.  In knowing that a brighter day might be yet to come.  Even if I can not see it thru my tears at this moment.  I believe in brighter moments I believe in happy endings.  Even if I don’t get one myself.

Of coarse this little guy does bring the sunshine to my life.  I try my hardest to look at life as he does.  It’s all one big adventure.  It is for him that I smile.  For him that I laugh.

I make my home festive so he can enjoy it.

Let’s start with some shiny details….

Above you can see the dollar store ornaments I picked out for my tree.  Even thought they are dollar store I think they make the tree look pretty glamorous.

And then I stopped by my local Walmart and found some black things to add.  😉

Isn’t the black additions so cute.  I luff them

And do you recognize that thrifty find angel that is topping my tree.  I spray painted her gold and she was ready to party this Christmas.

While at Walmart I also picked up this cute decal that I thought would look great on my walls. So it got added to my living room ledges.

Everything is stunning Anj. You are an amazing source of strength and I know exactly how you feel. Losing a loved one is the hardest thing to handle especially around the holidays. I love your home. Your decorations are just beautiful…like you xoxo

  3. Your decorations look beautiful. I know this had to be a hard Christmas for you, but I’m confident you handled it like the champ you are. I’m glad you have some great memories too.
