On my mind Monday candle light from my apt fireplace

I love to watch the candle light from my apt fireplace glow.  I’ve finally gotten those boxes now unpacked.  I’ve been in the apartment for 3 months now.  And as I dig into the June room challenge to finish my closet III / craft-project room.  The boxes that come out of there must be unpacked and arranged where ever they may go.  I have even put together boxes and gotten them over to goodwill.  Thanks to my amazing friends.  So to those of you who think I  border on hoarder {and I might}.  I give as good as I get and if it can’t find a spot as I unpack it it gets donated.  Of coarse putting my apt fireplace back together was a no brainer.  I love to sit and watch the glow of

candle light from my apt fireplace

I used 99 cent store white votive candles.  I’m loving having it all back together with some new white milk glass additions.  It’s really come together well.  I’m happy to report not one piece was broken during this move.  That’s one heck of an accomplishment.  For just family & friends doing the moving.  And it being box upon box marked FRAGILE GLASS or FRAGILE WHITE MILK GLASS.  I love ya my people.

It’s really come together nicely I think and tomorrow on Transformed treasures Tuesday no 24 you will get to see where in the black bedroom exactly this is living.  Be sure to come back so you can check it out.

Since it is in the black bedroom  For it first run in this apartment  I decided to go all white with the candles.  I really love the way it looks up against the black.  To facilitate visits for my grandson Damon I have made sure to keep this way up above his reach.  When my monster J was growing up she had a fascination for candles around yr 10, it got so bad I stopped buying candles.  So happy we are way past that stage.  And now with Damon we get to see the circle of life go round again.

Stay tunned…xoxo Arod

I inherited all of my husband’s grandmother’s glassware. I hadn’t come up with great ways to display it, but you have me thinking it’d be fun to turn them into candle holders.

I love this idea by my fireplace has a gas insert. Hmmm….wonder if I could balance some small votive holders among the fake logs?
